Lakeside at Blackhawk Amenity Center Pflugerville, TX - Spiedel Lane

Three separate structures comprise this subdivision's amenity center. Together, they form a compound with the relationship of each building helping to frame views into the pool and other outdoor activities. The compound effect creates a large sprawling presence, reminiscent of ranch-like structure with its support buildings. The 3 structures provide for an Activity Building that houses administrative offices, restrooms, fitness center, serving kitchen and a large multipurpose room; an Open Air Pavilion that can accommodate large group activities; and a Bathhouse/Equipment Building that provides restrooms, dressing area, storage and houses the pool equipment. Regional materials are used to reinforce the vernacular architecture: sandstone veneer, rough troweled stucco, galvanized standing seam metal roofs, peeled cedar log columns and waned edge pine trusses.
