BJM Ranch
Ranch Road 12 – South of Dripping Springs

This new Ranch House retreat is located on approximately 6 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is approximately 3800 square feet of livable space and 1500 square feet of outdoor living porches. The house is sited to take advantage of an original foundation and a collection of specimen live oaks. The final design respects these magnificent trees as the indoor and outdoor living spaces are threaded between their trunks and their shade providing canopies. The end product reflects a casual living environment that attempts to erase the boundaries that separate the indoors from the outside environment. The interior is highlighted with old pine beam trusses, satillio tile floors and controlled natural light that is transmitted through an array of doors and windows. The outside combines regional features and qualities that reflect the distinct Texas Hill Country locale. Standing seam metal roof, beautifully coursed limestone and pine beams and columns are integrated with the natural landscape features – pool, water feature and rim rock outcroppings. The final design composition is one that is in harmony with nature.
